Five Cannibal Horror Books to add to your TBR list: Part One

Who doesn't love a good Cannibal book, maybe you say you don't but, I mean , youre literally reading this right now.  I love the genre personally, even before I started reading I would love to find movies such as Green Inferno 2013 cannibal horror film directed by Eli Roth or Cannibal Holocaust 1980 Film Directed by Ruggero Deodato. With Robert Kerman, Francesca Ciardi, Perry Pirkanen, Luca Barbareschi.

When I found Indie {Self Published Authors) Splatterpunk I was amazed.  From books like Cannibal Jungle by Jon Athan (Author of The Groomer) which I cover in 5 Cannibal horror Books to add to your TBR: Part 2. I was hooked completely, so I thought I would put together a list of some of the craziest cannibal books that i have found, with several parts this first edition of 5 Cannibal horror Books to add to your TBR contains Indie Authors such as D.E. McCluskey, one of my favorite authors of all things gore.

1. Zola by D.E. McCluskey

It was given to him by Anthony Zola, a controlling, and abusive father, to taunt his wife over her love of cheese, and the fact that she had been steadily gaining weight since their marriage.

Andrea was a doting mother, and maybe a little overprotective of her boy, but she didn't see that as a bad thing.

On discovering a secret, one the child had been told to keep to himself, everything changes. Now she must do whatever she needs to keep her, and her boy, alive.

Needs must.

Gordon is going to find that his love of cheese, handed down to him by his mother, and his love for the only woman in his life, is about to be taken to a whole new level.

From the dark mind of D E McCluskey, author of The Twelve, CRACK, and Cravings, Comes another addition to his limited 'Extreme Horror Series'.

Zola is about to take you into a whole new level darkness, and depravity.

"The perfect combination of extreme horror and heartfelt emotion." - R E Shambrook

"Truly, a book of absolute depravity... but with heart." - Christina Pfeiffer

Everything said about this book is true, I was very disgusted all through out it.  The Mother son relationship in the story is just about as sick as the rest of it. The rollercoaster of decent into madness had my anxiety at full throttle.

2. Joey by Kayla Stevenson
https://a.co/d/9nNqL6Q

Joel has been long single and just craves another human attention, but something is wrong with his world perspective. Which version is the real him? Can you stand reading long enough to decide? Is he just a poor little divorcee trying to make his way in this world or is Joel the scary version that haunts others nightmares. No matter what you see the truth will always be, Joel just really loves people.
This was my first Kayla Stevenson book and it has made me want to dive more into her work for sure.
I found Joel to be a crazy read a look into mental illness and the line that once is crossed you may never get back.  It made me nervous and disgusted, which are both great responses ones that you look for when finding that perfect splatter/ gore read.  I mean look at the cover art on this, even that turns the stomach a bit.

3. Carnivores by K.L. Allister

(make sure to follow link, book is very hard to find when searching.}

This book was so much fun, it took me a minute to decide to read it and then i was wishing that i had read it sooner. Like I said, so much fun to read. Puts you in this almost movie in your mind of depravity and sickness. The way that these elite men feel they are above all just makes you hate and love them at the same time. makes you scream at the character to just join them and live the life of perfection, I mean its just a book right. (winky face}. I will leave you with the book blurb and you can decide for yourself, but my advice is Read This Sh**!
BOOK BLURB:
How far would you go for the offer of a lifetime? Wealth. Power. Notoriety. All that and more could be yours.

Would you mutilate? Would you defile? Would you kill? Would you submit to the call of depravity and commit unspeakable atrocities?

Boundaries get crossed and blood spills once Connor Miller is recruited by the twisted elitist cabal known as "The Executives." Morality's blurred lines are drenched in crimson as Connor rips, gnaws and slices his way into the corporate world, where there is no middle ground. The cogs of this brutal wheel turn while bones shatter, limbs are severed, and desires are fulfilled.

Sanctity of life becomes a cost benefit analysis once the
carnivores have fed. The downtrodden suffer while Connor comes to grip with demons and slips further and further into lunacy.
So, will you give them your
best? In turn, they'll give you the world.

4. Mickey & Mo by Robert Essig (Author), Tomasz Czarny (Author)

Alright so hear me out... Don't do drugs mmmkay
My mouth legit dropped while reading this book like wait... what happened? No Way, that didnt just happen. Don't want to give anything away but here's the book blurb you should defiantly take this insane ride of depravity.

5.Cannibal Fat Camp by Mark Scioneaux David Hayes
https://a.co/d/8Yt7Lfl
Cannibal Fat Camp reminds me so much of William Golding 's Lord of the Flies. Maybe just a lot sicker and more descriptive. It had some pretty detailed parts where i was mouth dropped in awe.

Miles Landish can’t help himself. He eats and eats and eats and eats just to fill an empty, gaping, hole in his self esteem. Nothing ever seems to fill that hole, even the five star meals Miles' wealthy parents make possible. So, as a last resort, Miles attends Camp Tum Tum, a weight control camp for spoiled teens.

What happens there is only hinted at in high social circles, but the truth must be told!

Facing starvation, the campers at Tum Tum make a decision that very few human beings have made. That decision turns Camp Tum Tum into... Cannibal Fat Camp!

The Pampered Camper Edition is the ultimate edition of Cannibal Fat Camp, and contains eight short stories from Mark C. Scioneaux and David C. Hayes!
